Editorial Policy
Nordic Health Review is a publication of independent journalism. Our editorial policy is short because it can be.
Independence
All articles are independently researched and edited. We accept no payment in exchange for coverage. We do not carry sponsored articles in the body of the publication.
Educational purpose
Our articles are educational. They summarise, explain and reflect. They are not medical advice, and they cannot substitute for a consultation with a qualified healthcare professional. When a reader is unwell or worried, we recommend they contact a healthcare professional.
Sources
Where our articles rely on specific facts, they are drawn from peer-reviewed literature, official public-health guidance, and professional experience. We correct errors promptly when they are pointed out.
No affiliations
We are not affiliated with Omakanta, Kela, Kanta Services or any Finnish government authority. When we write about such services, we do so from the outside, as journalists.
Corrections and pitches
We welcome corrections, letters and pitches at editors@nordichealthreview.fi. We reply to most messages within a working week.
